Sonne Weisse | Wheat Beer

Please note: Many of our German specialty beers come from small, local breweries that barely export. These breweries often use a BBD (Best Before Date) of only 6 months. This is the date by which the brewer guarantees optimal quality and is the preferred time to consume the beer.

The actual shelf life of these beers is generally significantly longer (often around 12 months), provided they are stored correctly. Due to the small-scale import and limited availability, it may occur that a beer is close to its BBD upon delivery. This is a deliberate choice in order to make these unique, locally produced beers available outside of Germany.
