The best part about collaborations is often the people you meet and the adventures that lead you – sometimes against your will – to unknown breweries. That is exactly what happened during a collaboration at Lumen in Omaha. They introduced us to the amazing team at Bearded Brewer (also in Omaha), and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together and their fantastic beers!

After that, we decided to brew "Déjeuner Continental" with them: a Triple IPA packed with Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Dynaboost, Citra Incognito, Waimea, Fresh Waimea Hop Kief, Nelson Sauvin, Nelson Sauvin Cryo, and Riwaka... Wow! That is a huge amount of hops.

The beer is extremely hoppy, yet beautifully balanced thanks to the residual sugars that soften the bitterness. Fruity notes come together on the palate, reminiscent of a fruit salad against a slightly grassy background – the result of that enormous amount of hops. We had a great time with a top-notch team.
