Another brewery we’ve been keeping a close eye on, but which seemed to have passed our entire existence like ships in the night; Pomona Island broke onto the UK brewing scene in 2019 and hasn't looked back since – a welcome addition to the Manchester brewing community and proof that the hype doesn't just exist behind Piccadilly Station. Since it had taken so long to collaborate on a beer, we figured we might as well go all out when we invited our friends from Salford to North Wales – where else could we go but to brew our biggest triple IPA to date? A quadruple dance of the freshest harvests of Mosaic, Citra, Talus, and Strata, we wanted to maximize the flavor of this beer, without that cloying sweetness that can plague the style. We’d say we knocked it out of the park with this one – if we had packed any more into it, we’d be bursting at the seams; with 24 g/l of vibrant passion fruit, tangerine, sweet berries, and coconut, with a hint of rose water and sage for complexity, this is absolutely a beer fit for a birthday celebration.
