A collaboration long in the making - we have had the honor of calling the team at Duration friends going back to before their incredible brewery in Norfolk was operational - and we were given a tour of the site and (legally) breaking in with Miranda and Bates before they even broke ground in 2019. Like ships passing in the night, we’ve missed each other ever since, but when planning our seventh birthday beers, we knew our East Anglian friends were at the top of the list to work with. To express our shared love for the old school and cool off a bit from the new school haze in this year's lineup, we went full throttle with a West Coast IPA that pays tribute to the brewers of yesteryear, but with one foot in the present to boot. We kept the hop bill simple with three pillar hops in Citra, Simcoe, and Chinook, and layered the hot side additions to create a West Coast beer that is unapologetically bitter, but with a clean piney and resinous finish
