Knoblach Schammelsdorfer Hell | Helles

Please note: Many of our German specialty beers come from small, local breweries that barely export. These breweries often use a BBD (Best Before Date) of only 6 months. This is the date by which the brewer guarantees optimal quality and is when the beer is best consumed.

The actual shelf life of these beers is usually considerably longer (often around 12 months), provided they are stored correctly. Due to small-scale import and limited availability, it can happen that a beer is close to its BBD upon delivery. This is a deliberate choice to ensure these unique, locally produced beers can still be made available outside of Germany.
