This year, we aged our beautiful barley wine in whiskey barrels from Het Anker, the brewery behind Gouden Carolus. This gives the beer deep, warm notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak. The whiskey influence adds a lovely complexity to the beer’s robust malty character. This results in a beautifully full and smooth taste experience, perfect for enjoying at a slow pace.
